What We Preserve
Our shadow box preservation service is currently exclusively available for proposal roses. By specialising in proposal roses, we are able to carefully assess each flower's condition, preservation requirements and final presentation to create a thoughtfully crafted keepsake.
Our Process
Your roses are carefully preserved using 3D silica-gel drying techniques, which help retain the flower's natural form and structure while preserving as much of its original colour as possible. This method is particularly well suited to light and pastel-coloured roses. White and very pale roses may naturally develop a creamy, lightly yellowish or ivory tone during and after preservation. Roses in richer shades such as red, burgundy and purple can also be preserved, although natural colour changes may occur during the drying and preservation process. Please note that colour changes, lightening or darkening are a natural part of flower preservation and cannot be completely prevented.
Framing Styles & Sizes
Each preserved rose is carefully reconstructed and arranged within a shadow box frame to create a timeless floral keepsake. Depending on the number and size of your roses, we can create a line-by-line arrangement or a heart-shaped composition.

Preparing Your Roses
For the best preservation results, please deliver your roses to our studio as soon as possible after your proposal, while they are still at their freshest condition. The condition of the roses at the time of handover will affect the final preservation result. Roses that are already wilted, bruised, damaged or significantly dried may not be suitable for preservation.
Timeline
Your preserved rose artwork will generally be ready within 4–8 weeks, depending on the number of roses, arrangement and framing requirements. As each piece requires individual preparation and reconstruction, we accept a limited number of preservation commissions each month.
Secure a Preservation Slot
We accept up to 2 proposal rose preservation commissions per month to allow sufficient time and attention to be dedicated to each piece. For proposal roses, pre-booking the exact flowers is not required. As proposals are often planned as a surprise, simply contact us in advance with your estimated proposal date. We can advise on availability and preservation arrangements, and confirm the preservation booking once the proposal has taken place.
